Ninth Street Bee Line Rail Road Company

This item seems to be a complimentary pass for the Ninth Steet Bee Line Rail Road Company in Kansas City, Missouri. It looks like it was a promotional item intended to take a passenger to "Wetville" at 315 West Ninth Street.

Consultation with Sanborn maps shows that 315 W 9th location was occupied by the Gibson Hotel in the mid-1890s. I cannot tell whether there was a saloon at that location, however. Nor can I determine whether there was ever such a railroad company in Kansas City. 

Does anyone out there have any additional information to share?
