Arizona

Became territory: February 4, 1863
Became state: Feb 14, 1912

This is a popular state with collectors, although only a few varieties of certificates would be considered common. This state is particularly popular for its mining-related certificates. Several companies incorporated in this state with operations elsewhere.

Miner with pick and shovel at left. Mill beyond. The rest of the design shows irrigated fields, orchards, and cattle below a reservoir. Sun rises beyond mountains. Ditat Deus (God enriches) at top.
