Collecting organizations

I strongly recommend joining the International Bond & Share Society. Please visit the organization's web at site for current membership information.

Do not let the words "International" and "Share" intimidate you. IBSS membership in the United States is huge. In actual fact, IBSS  members call the group "America's biggest society for stock and bond collectors." Believe me, American stocks and bonds are a big part of global collecting, and probably much larger than you might think.

The Society publishes its journal, Scripophily, four times a year. Practically every issue contains information about railroad stocks and bonds. Scripophily also contains numerous advertisements from dealers around the globe.

You may read a few of past articles of Scripophily by visiting dealer Mario Boone's site at .
