Occasionally,
stock transfers were recorded on separate forms supplied by
railroad companies. Most transfer forms resemble ordinary
business receipts, about the size of todays paper money.
Stock transfers were rarely larger and more ornate.
Because
most transfers are very plain, they usually attract limited
collector interest.
I catalog stock transfers only when they:
- could be mistaken for ordinary stocks or bonds, or
- carry pre-printed names of railroad companies.
