Became territory: March 3, 1863
Became state: July 3, 1890
Only a small number of railroad companies have incorporated
in the state. If it weren't for companies that incorporated elsewhere
and operated within the state, the would be an almost impossible state
to specialize in. It is possible that several mining companies have not
yet been recognized as peripheral railroad operators. No certificates
are yet recorded with the state seal.
