More references about bank note companies and engravers

Chances are, you found my site because of a company listed on my American Bank Note Company page. That page represents the extent of my knowledge. I have very little information not already included there. However, I have compiled a list of good sources of information that might answer your questions.

Some of the sources listed are available through inter-library loan. Some may be found at private libraries such as the excellent loaning library of the American Numismatic Association.

Also, if you are interested in purchasing any of these books, you may sometimes be able to acquire them from either http://www.alibris.com or at http://www.ebay.com.
